Dr. Betsy Anderson

Because career exploration is a key aspect for our majors, this spring the Gustavus Adolphus College Psychological Science Psi Chi chapter welcomed guest speaker Dr. Betsy Anderson. Dr. Anderson is a clinical psychologist in New Ulm, MN.

During her talk, Dr. Anderson walked interested students through an average day and talked about job expectations in her current workplace. She also took time to discuss what she finds most challenging about her work and how she ended up in her current career. In addition to talking about a career as a clinical psychologist, Dr. Anderson also touched on education options, as well as what is required to acquire licensure in Minnesota.

Speakers like Dr. Anderson provide a great opportunity for students to get questions answered by current professional in their prospective career field.
