Congratulations to those qualifying Psychological Science majors who were inducted into the Psi Chi international honors society!
On April 15th the 2014 Psi Chi induction ceremony took place for our local chapter at Gustavus. New members were formally inducted into the society and graduating seniors were given their cords to wear during commencement.
Psi Chi was founded September 4th, 1929 and now has over 600,000 members. The organization is made up of psychological science students who meet academic requirements. On campus members work to organize events within the department, and promote student and faculty communication. Students also help with issues related to the major and curriculum. In addition, a new executive board was chosen for the upcoming year.
Being a member of Psi Chi provides students with an opportunity to be more involved in their major and build relationships with faculty.
